Bandwagoner's
have just announced our new Autumn tour dates, see
the tour page for details.
We've tried to
include all the places we couldn't play the first time
round i.e. Wales, Dublin, Blackpool etc so hopefully those
of you who sent e mails asking when we'd be playing near
you should now get the chance to see us live and doing
the do in a town near you soon.
Road To
Nowhere is almost ready to be filmed now, in two weeks
time to be precise, so I'm really looking forward to
getting stuck into it. I've tried all the gear on that
I'll be wearing and even slipped on the old black bomber
jacket again, Goosebumps a plenty.
Everyone
involved with the series as been working really hard and
fingers crossed you won't be disappointed with the final
result. The scripts are finished, the actors are in
place, the kettles boiled and the toast is ready for
buttering so let the show begin and the laughter start.
I'm very
proud to be a part of it all and co writing it with a mate
is like a dream come true. I still have to pinch myself
in the mornings, co writing my own series, doing a
successful stand up tour with people I have a laugh
with and being able to lie in bed everyday is also very
nice. To think that only two years ago I was working in a
leisure centre and also part time on a building site is
madness, whoever's watching over me, thanks and I wont let
you down.
Now
then, another bit of news is myself and Archie Kelly will
be standing in for Ted Robbins (Den Perry) on BBC Radio
Lancs this week. We've already done Ted's bank holiday
Monday show and we're also doing 9 am till 12 noon Thurs
and Fri (3rd and 4th June). We had a good laugh the last
time we did it and are very flattered to be asked
again, it may have something to do with Teds break pipes
being cut that caused him to career off the road but
luckily me n Archie are on hand to stand in for him and
take his wages at the same time. If you've got a
favourite song you want us to play then just phone or txt
the show, as long as its nothing by Judas Priest, Marilyn
Manson, Black Sabbath or Peter Andre then I'll be glad to
play it for you.
Well that's it
for now so until my next weeklyish message, be good and if
you can't be good, be bad.
Paddy
