Hello you dirty
barrel of sausages, Paddy here with my weeklyish message and
quote.
The auld tours well underway now and it feels like we've
never been away. We kicked off at Hull New Theatre and what
a great way to start the tour, 1400 sold out seats filled
with an audience that were livelier than Leslie Grantham's
MSN inbox. A fantastic night and the Hull audience made us
feel really at home. |
Then it was onto Hebden Bridge, a lovely pictures village
were an arguing couple kicked off upstairs, the audience
dealt with them in there own small village way and they were
thrown out quicker than Jordan's biography, say no more.
York Opera House was a pleasure to do and again the audience
were right up there with the best so far, then it was onto
Dublin Olympia Theatre and the Craic was mighty. Top show,
top audience and a top singalong with the Camembert Quartet
(Irish Comedy Group) who we linked up with after the show at
a bar around the corner from the gig.
The latest show of the tour was Preston Charter Theatre,
always a warm welcome for us in Preston and the show was a
little belter. We had a bit of a drink after at a bar called
Scream and the folk in there were top notch.
If you've been to any of the shows so far I've just put the
latest tour audience pics up on the site, see if you can
spot yourself.
I've got a couple of weeks off now so the lad'll be popping
into Granada to see how Road To Nowhere is fairing which the
two Pete's, Hallworth and Kay, are grafting on as we type.
Role on Huddersfield Town hall on the 26th of Oct, it's sold
out so it should be a good un.
Until next time
Nanoo Nanoo
Paddy.
