Message & Quote |
March 2005 - Quote 4 | |
 |
Hello cockles,
Paddy here with my weeklyish message and quote.
Been a tad busy this last couple of weeks, filmed the new
single for comic relief
(Is This The Way To Amarillo), did my bit on Soccer Am and
finished it all off with a little bit of writing.
|
I think the
Comic Relief single is being released as a CD/DVD, the video
for it is a little belter featuring lots of different TV
folk from the past and present so look out for it and lets
make sure it gets to No1, remember all the proceeds go to
Comic Relief. On the day of filming I was informed that
Shaun Ryder and Bez would be attending so out came the
camera and the pic that was taken will be up on the site in
a few days, gold dust.
This was the first time I've ever actually wanted to have my
picture taken with someone from the celebrity world and let
me tell you both The Ryder and The Bez were top draw even
though we couldn't start filming until The Ryder had drank a
can of ale, a cracking day and I hope you like the picture.
Now then onto the second time I've wanted to have my photo
taken with someone and that was at Soccer am, another
belting programme apart from the AM bit, 8 o'clock in the AM
I had to be up.
On the way to Sky studios I received a txt telling me that I
was going to be on with Peter Beagrie (ex Everton and Man
City legend) plus the mighty Paul "Gazza" Gascoigne, let me
tell you ma friends after finding this out I was happier
than Elton Johns florist and couldn't wait to meet them
both.
Sometimes you meet somebody off the telly who you've admired
it can be a bit of a let down when they turn out to be so
far up there own ass they can see their own tonsils but in
the case of Gazza and Beagrie this could not have been
further way from the truth if I tried. It was an absolute
pleasure to meet them, both totally down to earth and a good
laugh top be with, Gazza was a diamond and Peter was a block
of gold so out came the camera and you can see the photo in
the Paddy on the p*ss section. Oh aye before I forget all
the rest of the crew on Soccer AM were spot on so thanks to
Lovejoy and Chamberlain for making me welcome.
Myself and Pete (Kay not Beagrie) are still writing stuff
and coming up with ideas for Max and Paddy as well as
watching DVD's and putting the world to rights things are
coming along bootifully.
Remember folks if you want signed pics just send a S.A.E to
the address on the site and if you've got any Q n A's you
want answering or pictures you'd like to be put on fans
gallery then just e mail me direct on
patrick.mcguinness@gmail.com
They do come to me direct and I try my best to answer them
and get them back to you quick as poss, by the way not all
of um end up on the Q n A page but I do answer them and e
mail them back to you if not.
PS : Well done to the mighty Bolton Wanderers disposing of
Fulham in the FA Cup, roll on Cardiff.
Until next weekish
Come on you white men.
Paddy
