Well cock a
doodle do ma friends, Paddy here with my weeklyish message
and quote.
The tour as kicked off now and the first night in
Huddersfield was good but a bit of a mad one. I've listed
it in my new tour programme as one of my favourite gigs to
play but due to the sound and the problems with the mic
and video screen it's been knocked back a touch in my
listings. Luckily the crowd were absolutely fantastic and
although I had to cut the set a little bit short, along
with the ending not being what it was supposed to be the
atmosphere was still top dollar. I've had around 40 e
mails off different people saying how much you all enjoyed
the first night but I did get a smattering of people, erm,
well two of you saying about the sound which you were spot
on to mention. |

Since the first
night people have been tickled, bums have been kicked to
which all leads me nicely onto the second night at Buxton
Opera House. Fecking Trrrreeeeeemmmmendous, full on, belting
show, I was a bit knocked by the problems at Huddersfield
but by the love of Terence Trent Darby and all that is Holy
Buxton nearly brought the roof down.
Everything was spot on, the sound, the lighting, the set and
the audience well what can I say, seeing you all stood up
after the encore chanting Paddy, Paddy, it made the hairs on
the back of my neck stand up. A great night along with a
good hour and ten set meant everyone including myself went
home very happy. |

Now then with
regards to signing your merchandise and doing pics after the
shows some venues are going to prove tricky. Last nights
show at Buxton held nigh on a thousand people but I did come
out to do a few signings for the last couple of hundred. The
problem with this tour unlike The Bandwagon one is the fact
that it's just me on my own and most of the places I'm
playing are 1000 to 2000 seater's which causes a problem for
the signing's. The only way around this is to come out and
meet y'all after but to keep it to an hour or like a sale in
a Brothel, first come first served. This is the only way I
can do it other wise we'll be there hours after the show as
finished, which means people will miss there taxis or
trains, folk will get crushed and my pulling hand will have
to be soaked in ice water. I hope this will still give me
the chance to meet quite a few of you along with signing
some of your merchandise. If I don't get the chance to sign
anything or do a pic with you then please feel free to post
any of your goodies to the address on my web site so I sign
them and get them straight back off to you.
Off the tour for a moment I'd just like to tell you a little
bit about the game show "Tough Decisions" that I did the
pilot for last week. It went very, very, well and the
audience plus the contestants seemed to enjoy it. Everyone
got involved which helped me a hell of a lot and in the end
we delivered what could be the makings of a nice and bonny
new quiz show. Big thanks to all the production team
involved and an extra big thank you to the contestants and
audience.
The new double sided his and hers Calendar will be ready in
a week and I've attached a couple of pics for you as little
sneak preview. The women's side of the Calendar as pics of
me in the buff, fireman, sailor, footballer, builder etc and
the lads side as pics of women showing a bit of flesh,
blokes are a lot more simple a creature.
Well that's it for now, I've got a couple of nights off then
it's onto Burnley which after the Buxton show I cannot wait
to get my teeth into.
Until next weekish
Shalom
Paddy
