Certain nights have already cemented them selves in my mind
for the new top ten tour dates of the second leg, like
Middleton with an impromptu walk on by PK, a storming night
at Liverpool, Hull New Theatre where I decided to come on
stage in a 40 foot electronic crane and one in particular
which is going to be a very strong contender for the number
one spot, Glasgow Pavilion Theatre. What a fantastic
audience the Scots proved to be and as a stand up on any
tour will tell you, you get the feel of what an audience is
going to be like after your first few minutes on stage, in
Glasgow I knew they where well up for it before I even
stepped foot on stage and as I stood in the wings the
adrenalin was pumping and I couldn't wait to get on. I can't
sing Glasgow's praises enough, wonderful Theatre, great City
and an even better audience which makes Scotland one of my
new favourite places.
I'm doing the next few nights in the North along with my
home town of Bolton and then it's off darn sarf to entertain
the good folk of London and all who surround her. Now that
I'm back into the flow of things I'm relaxing a little bit
and I've really started to enjoy the second leg, I'm also
very much looking forward to filming the live DVD at
Blackpool Opera house on the 25th of this month. We had a
reccy of the place last week and it's such a big theatre to
play with so much history that at one stage during the night
I felt quite moist.
Now here's a little bit of news for (at the minute) your
eyes only...................... my new tour dates for
September/October 06. Oh yes your last chance to catch Paddy
McGuinness live on my first solo tour before the DVD is
released and I hang up the mic for a wee while.
I've put another Manchester date in there, I've played the
Palace Theatre, the Opera House and now last but by no means
least I'll be doing the Manchester Apollo, along with
Glasgow Pavilion again and another night at Birmingham
Alexandra Theatre. Tickets for these and all my other new
tour dates are now on sale and can be found on the tour info
page, again and I say this every time I announce new tour
dates please be quick if you'd like a ticket to any of the
nights as the first leg sold out in record time and the
second leg only as a few dates left plus the Apollo have
already sold 600 tickets.
Well I'm to polish the shoes and iron my shirt for tonight's
show at the Embassy Theatre in good old Skegness so until
next weekish.
For ladies who enjoy their cars Sheila's wheels are
superstars???
