Well hello my fricky frocky friends Paddy here with my weeklyish message
and quote.
Thank the Lord I'm finally back on line, you don't realise how much you
depend on e mails and the Internet until they're taken away from you but
in the words of Chuck Stryker "I'm back, bigger, badder and madder than
ever".
A lot's happened since we last spoke, I finished filming the Unknown
Stuntman which aired on E4 at the beginning of August and the feed back
as been fan dabby dozy.
I was really pleased with the finished result yet there's always a few
tweaks here and there that you'd liked to have changed but apart from
that and it only being on for 13 mins it was a great experience for me
to write and perform in my first solo project to which I'm very proud
of.
I've also just finished a pilot for the BBC - The Wheel Of Misfortune,
which is a mad as toast game show where celebrity guest play for
charity. It features myself as the host along with Pritchard and Pancho
(Dirty Sanchez) as the team captains. Again another belting experience
for me and I'll be posting some pics up of me and the boyos in the next
couple of weeks. PS I drank them both under the table. |

Now what am I up to at the minute, well I'm officially back in tour mode
for the last leg of the Dark side. I can't believe the tour started over
12 months ago way back in July 05 and it'll bring a tear to my Japs eye
when I hang up the mic for a well earned rest in October. I've been
chasing chickens in alley ways, running round Bolton in an old grey
jogging suit and knocking f**k out of slabs of meat down the local
Butchers shop to get myself back fighting fit for the tour, Joe Bugner
I've shit em.
Dates for the final leg of the tour have now started to sell out again
(see tour info) so please be quick if you want a ticket as this'll be
your last chance to see me live up close and personal on my first big
solo tour. All the ticket info plus theatre numbers can be found in the
tour section of the site and after 120 nights I've covered more area
than Rick Wallers underpants.
On the tour front again and as I've just mentioned this will be your
last chance to see live but fear ye not the Darkside will be out on sale
just in time for Chrimmy. I've been editing the live DVD and it looks
cracking, 3000 fantastic fans cram packed into Blackpool Opera house all
this along with my good self, 6 Dancing girls and eight cameras catching
every last laugh, cheer and clap, MAGIC.
Also the special features are going to be a little bit erm..........well,
special. If your like me and only buy a DVD if it's got decent special
features then you wont be disappointed.
There's a behind the scenes documentary on the making of the live DVD,
unseen backstage footage featuring a host of pop, rock, television and
comedy stars, Unknown Stuntman is going to be on there along with the
out takes, photo galleries and a sh*t load more goodies for you to cast
your eyes over whilst enjoying a tub of Hagen Daas.
I'm not sure of the exact release date of the DVD yet but rest assured
it'll be on sale in all the major high street stores and supermarkets
along with signed copies from the site shop, watch this space for
further info.
Well that's about it for now, I'm going to send off all your requests
for signed pics etc today so you should have them all by next week.
Please keep your letters and e mails -
patrick.mcguinness@gmail.com - coming in and now that I'm back on
line I'll try my Queens English best to get through them and reply quick
as poss.
Until next weekish
Eye of the tiger.
